Glendale Paddle and Pick Up
Keep Glendale Beautiful and the Glendale Community Council are collaborating with the Jordan River Commission to host a special paddling event to clean up the portion of the Jordan River that runs through Glendale. We'll learn about aquatic life and why it’s important to keep our rivers clean as we clean up our favorite local river.
Come join us for either a morning or afternoon on the water as we paddle the Jordan River and beautify it along the way! All equipment including canoes, life jackets, and paddling equipment will be provided.
We'll Provide:
- Canoes and Life Jackets
- Extra water
- Extra Snacks
- Gloves
- Trash Grabbers and Nets
- Other Tools as Necessary
Be sure to bring:
- Completed Volunteer Agreement Form (submit electronically prior to the event)
- Water
- Sunscreen and Hat
- Snacks (especially if you have dietary restrictions)
- Appropriate clothing to wear in a canoe and possibly get wet and muddy
- Allergy medication
- Bug Spray
- Face Mask
Registration is required. If you do not register, we will have to turn you away. Due to COVID-19 precautions, seats are limited.
