Community Litter Cleanup with Potomac Community Library
Join us as we get back to our Community Litter Cleanup program! For our first litter cleanup of the summer, we are partnering with Potomac Community Library. The Library will serve as our check-in location, as well as serve as the center of our cleanup location, which will focus on the surrounding public roads and spaces.
We want to make sure this is a safe and fun event, so we are holding two cleanup times: 10:00am-1:00pm, and 10:30-1:30pm. This ensures we have a staggered sign-in period to minimize contact with other volunteers. Each time slot is limited to 10 volunteers, and masks are required at check-in. KPWB will provide clean and sanitized supplies to all volunteers, including trash bags, gloves, safety vests, and litter pickers. Potomac Community Llibrary will be providing a thank-you gift to all volunteers.
