Great American Cleanup: Charleston Highway/HWY 78
Let's Make Aiken County History!
Please join us in the important endeavor of keeping our county clean and beautiful. Keep Aiken County Beautiful invites you to participate in the Clean Slate for Highway 78, in conjunction with the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup. The Great American Cleanup (GAC) is the nation’s largest community improvement initiative, which takes place annually during spring in an estimated 15,000 communities nationwide.
Join us on Saturday, September 26, 2020 for a worthwhile day of removing of litter from our community. The goal of Clean Slate for Highway 78 is to remove litter from the roadside, along an eight mile stretch of Charleston Highway/Highway 78, in Aiken County. This is a hefty goal but it is within our reach, with help from your organization. Are you willing to help improve our community appearance and quality of life? Please support this impactful community event.
Supplies will be distributed at:
Montmorenci Junction Oakwood Windsor Elementary School Windsor General Store
Please wear long pants, long sleeves, shoes you are willing to get dirty and a face covering!
