Haymarket Community Litter Cleanup
For our March Community Litter Cleanup, we will be focusing on the Town of Haymarket. We will be meeting at Cookies and Cream in Haymarket (14600 Washington Street, Haymarket) and we will spread out from there to remove litter from the public spaces in the community. The event will run from 1-3pm with check in beginning at 1pm. PLEASE NOTE: these times are different then our previous cleanup events. Cookies and Cream will open at 3pm so our volunteers can enjoy some delicious treats post-cleanup.
Please be sure to wear a mask during check-in. KPWB staff will provide all supplies (litter pickers, trash bags, gloves, and safety vests) and we will have hand sanitizer and a first aid kit on hand. Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and close-toed shoes. Boxed water bottles will be provided for volunteers.
