Dayton RETREET III
COME PLANT WITH US!
Join Keep America Beautiful on Arbor Day to leave a legacy that will last for generations to come. RAIN OR SHINE!
This tree planting event will begin at noon sharp with check-in at Russ Nature Reserve (2380 Kemp Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45431). Volunteers will be taught proper tree planting techniques, then arranged into small groups that will be sent to home sites throughout neighborhoods in Harrison Township, Beavercreek, Beavercreek Township, and Old North Dayton to replant large native trees for residents rebuilding in the wake of the 2019 tornados. A free dinner for volunteers will follow the planting. Dayton RETREET III will be a day to remember!
N.B. - Holes will be dug by hand, so volunteers should come prepared to work. Tools will be provided. For more information, please read WHAT TO EXPECT and our RETREET program page.
